Factors Affecting the Life of the Dust Collecting Bag Share

The damage of the dust collecting bag mainly refers to the damage, oxidative shrinkage, embrittlement, clogging, burning, corrosion, hydrolysis and differentiation of the filter bag. Therefore, the choice of filter bags has certain requirements, such as temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, low resistance, not easy to stick ash, high life-price ratio. The dust collecting bag is made of filter materials. Therefore, the factors affecting the life of the dust collecting bag are not only the structure of the dust bag, the manufacturing process, the cleaning method, the operating conditions, etc., but the most important factor is the characteristics and quality of the filter materials.

The temperature of the flue gas provides a preliminary basis for selection when selecting the filter material for the dust collecting bag. When the temperature exceeds 250 °C, only glass fiber materials can be used. When the temperature is lower than 130 °C, it is obvious that a polyethylene filter is the most suitable. When the temperature is in the range of 130 °C - 250 °C, it is necessary to comprehensively consider which filter material to choose according to the temperature of the flue gas, the composition of the flue gas, and the long-term working conditions.

The choice of the dust collecting bag is also influential on the choice of filter materials. The fiberglass dust collecting bag has poor folding resistance and wear resistance, and is effective for use on the flue gas back flushing dust collector, but it is not suitable in other dust cleaning dust collectors, especially, it cannot be used on a mechanically shaken bag filter that requires a bag to have sufficient mechanical strength. For other types of filter materials, they can be used on various types of bag filters.
